Papers must present original work. Submissions should emphasize completed research rather than intended work and clearly indicate the maturity and completeness of the reported results. All papers will be judged on technical correctness, originality, significance, impact, relevance to the conference themes, and clarity for attendees. Participation is open to all Bittensor miners in good standing, and submissions must remain anonymous, with no author identities disclosed in papers or code repositories. First publication at the AI Factory Conference is required, although concurrent submissions elsewhere are allowed.
Papers must be submitted as a single PDF using the official arXiv LaTeX template, with a maximum of 8 pages for long papers and a minimum of 4 pages for short papers, excluding references and appendices. Figures, tables, and algorithms are included within the page limits. All submissions must fully comply with the AI Factory Conference formatting guidelines to be considered for review.
All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process, where each paper is reviewed by at least three peer miners selected based on trust metrics and declared conflicts of interest. Reviews are based on technical soundness, originality, significance, clarity, and reproducibility. The entire process is recorded on the Bittensor blockchain for transparency, with reviewers earning trust weight and token rewards according to the accuracy and quality of their reviews.
The AI Factory Conference introduces a novel token-based incentive mechanism, where authors of accepted papers, reviewers, and other contributors receive TAO token rewards based on final paper scores and review quality. The rewards are funded by allocating 50% of Subnet 80's daily TAO miner emissions to the conference reward pool, encouraging meaningful contributions across the project.
