To encourage open knowledge sharing, we launched the Community Workshop — a system where miners earn emissions by presenting AI papers.

70% of Subnet 80's emissions (~2000 alpha/day) are allocated to Workshop contributors

🚀 How to Get Started

1. Install & Set Up

pip install bittensor-cli

Set up your wallet (coldkey + hotkey)

2. Register Your Hotkey

btcli subnet register --netuid 80 --wallet.name <your_coldkey> --wallet.hotkey <your_hotkey>

This assigns you a UID on Subnet 80

🎥 How the Workshop Works

Create a ~15-20 minute video on any AI topic or paper

Upload it to YouTube with "AI Factory Bittensor Conference" in the title

(e.g "Attention Is All You Need" presented by xxx at AI Factory Bittensor Conference)

Submit it on-chain using:

python ai_conference/submit_presentation.py --wallet-name <your_coldkey> --hotkey <your_hotkey> --metadata <video_id>

Earn alpha emissions based on views and likes (scored with a decay-based model)
